Solve Proportions with Tables

A ratio table solves a proportion by scaling a known pair up or down until it reaches the value you want. If 3 books cost 12, divide both entries by 3 for 1 book at 4, then multiply by 7 to reach 28 for 7 books. Every row holds the same ratio.
