Repeated Percent Change
When a percent change happens more than once, apply its multiplier again rather than adding the percents together. Two 10% rises on 100 give 110, then 121, not 120, because the second rise is taken on the larger amount. Multiply by 1.1 twice, or by 1.1² in one step.
