Compare and Order Decimals

Compare decimals place by place from the left, not by how many digits they have. A longer decimal is not automatically bigger, because 0.5 is larger than 0.45: five tenths beats four tenths. Writing the missing zeros in, as 0.50 against 0.45, makes the comparison plain.
