Equivalent Ratios

Equivalent ratios describe the same comparison written with different numbers. Multiply or divide both parts by the same amount and the relationship holds, so 2 : 3 is the same mix as 4 : 6 and as 10 : 15. A ratio table lists those pairs in order, one scaling step at a time.
