Check the Solution
Checking a solution is deciding whether an answer really works before you accept it. Estimate what to expect, substitute the answer back or undo it with the inverse operation, then check the units. If 24 people sit 6 to a group, testing 5 groups gives 6 × 5 = 30, too many, so the answer is 4.
