Multiply and Divide Integers
When you multiply or divide two integers, the digits give the size of the answer and the pair of signs gives its direction. Two matching signs make the answer positive; two different signs make it negative. So -6 ÷ -2 = 3, while -6 ÷ 2 = -3.
