Triangles and Quadrilaterals
Triangles have three sides and quadrilaterals have four, and inside each family the side lengths and angles decide the name. An equilateral triangle has three equal sides; a rectangle has four right angles. Checking sides and angles together is what separates a square from a rhombus.
