Write a Rule

Writing a rule turns a repeating structure into a formula that predicts terms you have not drawn yet. Compare each term with its position number, find what the position is multiplied by and what is added on, then test it on a term you know. For 5, 8, 11, 14 the rule is 3n + 2.
