Coordinate Input and Output
A function turns each input into exactly one output, and an ordered pair (x, y) records one of those matches. A table lists the inputs beside their outputs, and every row of it becomes a point on the coordinate grid. With the rule y = 2x + 1, an input of 3 gives the point (3, 7).
