Evaluate Expressions

Evaluating an expression means replacing each letter with a given number and working out the result. Substitute first, then follow the order of operations: brackets, powers, multiplication and division, and addition and subtraction last. If n = 4, then 3n + 5 becomes 3 × 4 + 5, which is 17.
